My Corbin seat is about 1 1/4" lower than the stock seat. It is very firm but it is sculpted to fit the butt. It is higher in the front to keep your nuts off the tank too. It pushes me back a little farther than I would like. I have to reach for the bars a bit now. I asked about softer foam when I ordered mine and they said no. They just use the one; they feel it is the best. I don’t find it slippery at all. Since you actually sit in the seat, it is harder to slide your butt to the edge for the twisties. I am 6’ tall with a 34†inseam and the outer edge of the seat digs into the inner thighs when my feet are down. Overall, I’m happy with it. The Tobin’s do look nice though.
