To load a map?

I have had a power commander3 for the last couple of years but have never loaded a map into my hayabusa, i let the dealer do it when he installed my exhaust.

My question is, do you need a laptop to load a map into your PC3?

either a laptop or a desktop, a smartphone may even be able to do it, just need a USB port and internet access if i recall correctly.

Any computer will work. A lap top is the most simple way.
