There is no better destination for a motorcycle and its rider than the meandering roads and gently rolling countryside of Historic Bell Buckle, Tennessee. Designated The Official Tennessee State Bike Show, Bell Buckle's Motorcycle Day is a jam packed day filled with an incomparable Poker Run on some of Tennessee's best backroads, a wildly competitive Bike Show, live entertainment, the best in country cooking, and much more!

Hear and see the thunder roaring into Bell Buckle on Saturday, June 13th beginning at 9:00 am at the stage area behind the stores in downtown Bell Buckle. This year's Poker Runs looks to be one of the best in event memory. Commonly known as a popular biker destination, Bell Buckle boasts a location that is a biker's dream ride nestled among the hills, farmland and heart of Tennessee's walking horse country.

One of the 2009 highlights promises to be a much anticipated live concert by Big Mike Griffin: 100% Biker Blues! As a biker and musician, Big Mike's original sounds blend blues music with biker culture. He has performed with David Allen Coe, Johnnie Rodriguez, and other artists and set a record attendance in Daytona, Florida, at the Full Moon Saloon during Bike Week 2005. Bikers and non-bikers alike will enjoy stomping their boots to Big Mike's high energy blues anthem infused with Southern Rock.

Admission is free so enjoy all there is to offer. In addition to the Poker Run and live concert, there will be a drive in Bike Show featuring seven different classes of bikes: full custom, mild custom, manufactured custom, sport bike, classic, antique, and trike/side car. Each class will feature trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. There will also be a trophy for Best of Show, and the Peoples Choice. One of the most exciting highlights of the day is the appearance of "Wingspan" presiding over the prizes and give aways, and the 50/50 raffle benefiting the Bell Buckle Fire Department. Offering the best in down home cooking, the Bell Buckle Café will be on site serving lunch from 11am - 4pm.

Rev up your engine, get ready for one of Tennessee's premier Poker Runs, see some of the finest custom bikes around, enjoy great blues & southern rock, and feast on the famous Bell Buckle Café BBQ! It's Motorcycle Day in Bell Buckle - close to home but a world away!
