Since TJ.. my son's best friend & CO-Worker bought his first street bike last night, we had it brought over to the house today. Steamed/Washed/Buffed/Polished/Waxed & air in the tires. She has 5,000 miles and adult owned. It will be loved. Took it for a spin and man is it different. The levers.. clutch/brake are massive and are factory. They hit the nose fairing when maxed out which took me by surprise while doing a U turn. Got to replace those for lower profile that is for sure. Damn nice bike is all I can say and beautiful to look at. Rubber side down TJ!

He is a very hard worker and I think deserving. Got a great deal and well under book. Paid cash which makes him a smart young man! I love the bike and think this old man would like one but hurt like hell to ride it at distance.
I rode a 916 and it wasn't comfortable for any distance...a drop dead gorgeous bike though and I'd wager to say the 916 was one of the best looking bikes made even to this day.

I'd imagine for a young guy, putting up with the pain isn't an issue and it wasn't for me at the time.
