tires?

im running 010 now but had the 012 on last, got close 5000 miles on them before i had to change it.

Good mileage on the BR 10's I ahve a set of BT 12's in reserve, but I will not change off the Shinko Diamonds now.

As far as mileage that would depend on how you ride. I think the tires are about the same. Both are excellent tires. Good mileage and grip. I would go with the metzlers if it were up to me just personal preference.

im riddin the bt 10`s and im lookin at just over 6300 miles on them and there just now starting to get a little slick in the middle, I noticed it the other day when I got on it hard it just kinda spun a little more than normal. But 6300 aint bad. Ill probley buy another set when I get the money.

I like the metzlers better, I ride 200 miles a day round trip to work and I got just under 7200 miles out of my last rear tire. But when you want to hit the curves the MEZ4's are a fantastic tire.

If you like the MEZ4's you love the M-1's. Better grip and more stability at higher speeds.

Thanks for the responses. I ordered the BT 010 for $130 shipped from Chapparral, best price I could find. I only got 2800 miles on my stock rear, no burnouts but a lot of hard accelerations, roll-ons and a few wheelies.

I've got the Metzler Sportec M-1's. I've already squared off the rear-tire at 2200 miles. I will be lucky to get 3200 miles out of this rear tire. I do some fast launches but no burnouts or wheelies. I got 4600 miles out of the stock Bt-56's so I'm going to try the Bt010's this time around. I've got to get something to last longer than 3000 miles.
