Tire pressure

Usually you are looking for a 10% pressure difference between hot and cold, for example, 30 cold, 33 hot.  I'm just starting to experiment on this bike, but the 42/42 seems awfully high.
I heard that too. If you are less than 10% then you have too much air.

38 frnt/40 rear almost exclusively on the 'busa..

at the track... 30/30

Suzuki says 42/42 period. It's in the service manual and the Owners manual.

However, different manufacterers have their own specs. Metzler for example says to run 36/38 front/rear on the Sportec M1's. SO who do you listen to? The bike builder, or the tire guru's?

I dunno, I'm changing my pressure to what Metzler recommends and see how it feels.

It's on page 77 of the owners manual that came with my 2003. It reads Solo front 42 psi and rear 42 psi and two up front 42 psi and rear 42 psi. All preasure is cold.
I found it in my owner's manual. 42/42. You would think that sinced they designed the bike and know what kind of tires they put on it, it would be right. Different brands, different story?
