Tips On Getting Clutch Main Push Rod In? Pics.

I installed a welded clutch mod. I think that because the main clutch push rod won't go all the way in, the "clutch push piece" won't go in all the way flush (pic 2). Then the clutch hub pushes against the cover and won't engage the clutch when the whole thing is back together because it's an inch pushed out.

Any tips on getting it back in?

Looks like you might have pull the clutch lever a bit,, just try pushing it back, if that doesn't work, Open the bleeder on the slave cylinder and it will go back

Thanks, I will try that. Would taking off the clutch reservoir cover off help take pressure off and allow it to push back?

This worked, so thanks. But now the clutch won't fully engage. Maybe it's the stud sizes? One set are longer (Gen II? I don't remember). Or something else? Maybe I need stiffer springs now?
