I do. I also use mine in the tankbag and run the remote display by the dash. I have mine setup to allow enough slack to move the tankbag without disconnecting the V1 to get fuel. I usually take my tank bag off the bike when I park it. It has most of my valueables that I take with me.

Now that I have a locking set of bags I may relocate the V1 and drop the tankbag all together.
