WTF!!! I represent the Dupage County Chapter of Ruff Ryders and do it proudly one of the reasons I decided to join was BD, hes gone the extra mile for alot of people on this board with nothing in it for himself. RR is family regardles of what ur opinions are. Each chapter is there own and is run individually but when its time to stand we all stand together. In every group there is a few youngs and hot heads who dont listen but you dont turn your back on them, you try to help as best as possible and if all fails you make sure your there to help them up when they fall.We just recently did a Breast Cancer Run last weekend that individuals attended all the way from Canada all for a good cause. Dont knock things unless you know everything about it. I will tell you one thing I never met Big D face to face but if he falls Ill run to help that man up cause thats how "I" roll and I roll Double R

Whats up BigDiesel first off big props to a Vested RR setting a prospect straight.  I try to do the same every time I meet a prospect riding with that damn ICON field armor vest.  So it protects your back, but what about your shoulders and arms.  I always tell them that the 150 to 180 for mess armor is far better than the road rash.

I wear the Icon vest, under an armored leather jacket.  Sorry, but the spine protection on jackets just isn't enough for me.  After a fractured vertebrae and a spinal fusion, I want a little extra on the spine.

O think you missed the pooint of my post, I was refering to folks wearing the icon field armor vest and only the vest.  It works great with other protective gears but isnt going to save much if worn alone.

Didn't miss your point. I agree with it 100% and was basicly saying "yeah, they're great protection for the spine but needs to be worn under an armored jacket."

It sure is funny how people around here love to flame a guy for trying to say something good, but because their beliefs differ from the accepted "norm" they would rather flame the cat and his bike club.

Big D, do your thing. I am not the biggest RR fan and that is really only a few memebers not the whole club. There a couple arrogant fu*kers round here that just happen be RR, so my beef is with them not the organization. The due that bought my first bike is RR and we are tight. As with any organization there are a few bad apples. But not need to cut down the whole fuggin tree!!
