Need a Ti-force Titanium SUMO mid pipe with an O2 bung.OK,I know they stopped making these, but does anyone know where I can purchase a new/used one?
or does anyone Know a place where I can send my
midpipe and have a bung welded on? THX Ed

Thanks guys, called orient express,Skip say's that Ti mid
pipe with 02 bung was discountiued 1 1/2 years ago

because it was to expensive and no one was interested
I can get a 02 bung with threads for $100

,but to
find a welding shop that does Ti in my area is difficult
because you need Argon gas in an enclosed booth(Ti
during welding process can not be exposed to O2)

True, I am taking welding myself at the union hall.
Not many can weld TI or is setup to. Best bet would be to make a few phone calls and see if anyone local could before sending it out.
Like you said there might not be many welding shops in NY.

Isn't there a plug so it wouldn't trip a code to block the O2 sensor on a busa equiped with one?
Would that be any easier route?

Pipefighter,I don't think busa's come with an 02
bung(not yet),and if they did, that would be mounted on a stock header.

Yes sir.
CA and Euro model Busa's had O2 bungs and sensors from factory.
Didn't know if you had one of those models.
I'm on the same page now.

Still try and call around some.
Might actually find one nearby.
