Throwing the code C12

I've already found what code means (Crankshaft position sensor / Pick up coil) what am I looking for to resolve this problem. As far as something out of place, or does the pick up coil need to be replaced? I have it apart and, ummm... It looks normal just not seeing anything obvious wrong in there.

2001 with approx. 30K miles
02-07 ECU with new stator
The bike would crank over but not start

I had the same issue on a car a few years back, had to replace the sensor. I suspect a bike might be the same, not positive tho.
