Sunny skies, not too hot, not too cold... this sucks in Atlanta... because my bike is in Alabama!!!
I hate seeing all the bikes on the road and I'm stuck in my Escort! But I promised my parents I wouldn't get back on the bike without health insurance. Even though I'm an adult and I can do what I want -- a promise is a promise. But I'm getting my health coverage soon and I'm planning to pick up my bike the weekend of April 7th. My dad was good enough to actually fix my radiator/cooling problem for me and also straighten out the steering... so now all I need to do is get the under cowling c. part to get it perfect... but I'll get that from a local dealer here in Atlanta because that part isn't really "needed" in order to ride. I'm just glad I landed a good job and got my payments back up to date. So I'm looking forward to April so I can be back on 2 wheels again and with a new KBC gunslinger helmet (best one I liked in my price range... hey, I'd love an Arai or Shoei but those things are just way too pricey!). I hope I can make it to the bash for a day (probably sunday) but it depends on my work schedule because we have photoshoots on weekends. During the week I'm stuck at a computer sending in orders.
So... if you're stuck in winter weather, don't feel too bad. Some of us are stuck in perfect spring weather but without a busa at their disposal!
