Just comparing the most recent MotoGP Qatar test and the World Superbike Superpole times, also at Qatar. The results are astounding. While the WSBK's are pushing much more HP (estimated 220+rwhp) than the GP800's, they seem to lack the handling and electronic technology that makes GP so much faster. Now for the laptimes, courtesy of roadracingworld.com:

Yup, THEM 800s are fast!!

But I wish they were still on the 998ccs...
 
wish they made a 800 that was still fast after you throw some 240 lb fatty on it...
