Just got back from a week of hunting in South Dakota with my Dad and my Daughter. The highlight was her getting her first Pheasant all on her own - with a 28 Gauge, no less. She was blocking - I was about 50 yards away doing same - when I saw one head her direction, then I heard her shoot (twice) and start excitedly hopping up and down...I yelled at her to "go find it quick" and shortly I see her proudly holding up her catch.
