AR15: You can pick off prairie dogs at 300 meters all day long

Mosin-Nagant: You get out of your truck, see an elk on top of a hill, and realize you really can use iron sights that far.

Ive never had a prob with Jamming in my M 16, carried one for 8 years active, jungle, lots of desert, and Europe. I qualified on all the Ruski small arms as well a the heavy and light (not really light) MG's back in 81 or 82 during OPFOR training. The AK cant hit a barn if you were shooting from inside, the terminal ballistics suck, its built like sht. I will stick with the AR's in 556 and 762 and keep the M1A for my main battle rifle, from longish shots to fixed bayonet time..

I am still kicking myself in the ass for not stocking up on the Nagants by the dozen a few years ago, great post apocalypse gun.
