Testing Cam Sensor

I have an 08 motor that will not spark. Is there a way to test the cam sensor to make sure it is good? Thanks in advance.

Never heard of one going bad on a Gen2.

This engine used in a bike or car ? Give us more info. Just one day out of the blue or after some work was done did it develop this problem ?

Bike , check to see if recall has been done to wiring harness up by the ignition switch area. A problem with some of the early 08's.
