Same bulbs lit up. The amber tinted bulb has a more "yellowish" glow to it as compared to the silver vision chrome bulb that lights up amber. The brightness is nearly the same. The amber tinted bulb seems to show up a little better however when turned off clearly makes the clear lens look amber. IMO why put a clear lens on?
