Tank protector on a white bike - which one are you guys using?

Hey guys,

Got my first white bike over the weekend and I'm not sure I want a dark-colored tank protector on there. What are you all using? Are they really necessary anyway? Nothing contacts my tank except cloth and leather.. then again, I've never ridden a bike without one.

I suggest going with a clear pad for your white bike. I have a black/grey bike and have a carbon fiber (look) pad.

I put a factory Suzuki Hayabusa one on mine. Clear with subtle graphics. I like it......

I have a white busa as well. The color choice I went with is blue since the stripes on the bike are blue. I got rid of the bike and the idiot changed it out and super glued a 3d pad on there. I ended up getting the bike back and when it came off, im stuck with super glue stuck to the tank. Now I need to find a large tank protector to cover it up.

dont buy the cheap chinese ones they fall apart in a couple days and leave a nasty residue

Would it be bad to leave the bike with no tank protector?

I've always got something over my belt buckle.

I would get "thetankslapper.com" clear 3m vinyl. Easy and works great. 10 years now.

I can't tell you how many times I heard some1 say "oh I don't need that I always...." Better 2 have than have not. I got a full cover off ebay only cost me $50 and I ride worry free everytime I get on my bike
