Taking weight saving to max

You mind sharing a link to the engine bolt source please ? :)
Well you can get a small kit from SAE Outlaw for these big rear engine mount bolts that also include front mounts and I believe rear suspension link bolts. I had over a year or so sourced from other places before anyone had anything that specific to the Hayabusa. I got most of them from Pro-Bolts USA based out of UK. I also sourced Titan Classics, DME Racing, Racebolt Uk and a few Ebay China vendors.

Just a tease of a few bolts and nuts.
Here's a few more if you want to tease , those Zeta titanium axle might still be on sale .....absolutely beautiful lightweight pieces !!

Toad,
Watch it posting all that porn! We don’t want you to get banned. Lol!
Question for you and @c10: my body panels hardware is getting worn after so many years of dis/assembly.
Do you think titanium would be more durable?
Are such fasteners even offered in titanium?
Any idea of the cost and weight savings?

Im not a titanium addict, but if they are more durable, I might go with them, instead of getting a full fairing hardware kit from a wrecked bike on eBay.

Hello. My name is Steve. I am a titanium fastener addict. I have $2500 of titanium and some aluminum in fasteners on my 2006 Hayabusa. I am currently 2 months sober............As far as other lightweight components, I am in it at least another $2000 if not more in other lightweight part choices. Right now without all the HP performance mods put on the bike yet, I have about $28k in the bike at the very least. When I bought the bike in 2007 for $6k, this makes it a $34k H2 Killer!

But on that note, my bike comes in at 466 lbs. full of gas and all fluids. Full legal street trim. I considered carbon fiber body parts but do not want too good of quality as there may not be any weight loss involved.
we need pictures..... its forum rules... because we have heard tall tales about 310 hp ALL motor STREETABLE busas……. I still say they don't exist.

Well I think you can still get kits / sets in both aluminum or ti for the Busa from Probolt . The aluminum is very light and cheaper , but the hex tool hole gets chipped and ugly pretty quickly over time , so I recommend the ti set , which is still 40 % lighter , but also strong durable and a real nice fastener . You can get colors for either type . The ti won't be cheap , but will last for many years if you take care of them with thread compound , possibly supplied with set you buy , but also available on the mentioned site .

That is a lot for me to take in. I guess the cap is nice and the concept is cool but instead of eliminating the key it just factors in a second key lol. Very nice looking light weight cap though.
Here is what I did when I was running my spare Rizoma . That is a M5 aluminum bolt , plastic spacer and thread bites into the Rizoma key hole , lasted all the time I had it fitted up . Chews up the Busa key a little , but no worries !!:)
