do they make factory led tail light bulbs for gen 1 what about the ones that spin(if so what size and type)and where to get them.

What exactly are you asking?

If you are asking can you buy LED bulbs to replace your stock ones within the same housing? Yes you can do that. You just need to go to your local parts store and buy the bulb with the right number. I don't recall which one it is at the moment, something like 1157 or something.

They do make the rotating style that will just plug in as well (same plug number). Keep in mind that either of these choices may not be as bright as the stock style bulb in direct sunlight.

They will also give you a faster blink rate than standard bulbs. I had LED bulbs in mine, and had to remove them because they are hard to see.

Why? Aren't leds supposed to be brighter? Is it the red lens? Would putting in some type of board be better instead of just the bulbs?
I was thinking of going led also but wanted to keep the stock lens.

I put LED bulbs in mine and they are brighter than stock. Got them from Auto Zone. Size 1157.
