Tachometer error

Would anyone know how accurate the tach is, particulary above 10,000 rpm?

For example,  stock 17/40 gearing @  10,900 rpm = 204 mph according to the gear speed calculator. Hypothetically speaking of course.

I think I read somewhere that it was off by 700RPM at the top, so the rev-limiter would really hit at 11,2000.

i know the rev limiter comes on at 11,500 rpm. my guess it off bye a few hundred rpm for the tach

I am not sure how accurate it is, but it is very slow. I had a raptor shiftlight on my last Busa. I had it set at 10,500. The tach would be at about 9300 when the light flashed.
