T-Rex Frame Sliders Installed & PPM Screens Cut (Pics)

I installed the T-Rex No-Cut frame sliders today...it was very easy. Just swap out the engine mount bolts and screw in the new brackets. The trick for me was cutting through the PPM chrome screens that I like so much without making a mess. It was no small fete. The margin for error when cutting through them was very high. I didn't do a perfect job, but it is only really visible up-close and personal. It was the best I could do with them without hacking up the screens. I broke out the Dremel and polished them down to a smooth surface.

Luckily I left enough screen to go back in and trim a nice clean circle or square around the slider shaft.

Nice job John. You did a good job cutting the screens, I know that had to have made you nervous. hehe

Yeah it made me nervous:-) I still need to clean them up a bit so it doesn't look so amateur. Heck just give me a Dremel and I'll dive in head first and make a mess of anything.
