Switched Power For Relay Trigger

Lowside

Howdy Riders, I'm adding a new switched circuit to power my heated jacket and heated grips. Will be using a relay and need to find a good switched power source to use for the relay trigger. I do have a wiring diagram and that helps with understanding wire colors but doesn’t necessarily show what’s “handyâ€￾. I've used the tails lights before and may end up doing that but am wondering if there’s a source that would be even easier.

Thanks for any help. :beerchug:

If you mount it under the seat and given the proximity to the battery; tail lights don't sound bad at all.

the white SDS connector (6 pin) under the seat has a switched +12volts going to it.

I have been thinking about making a plug and play fuse box for the gen II bikes.

Great info. Thanks for the tips guys. I plan to tear into it this weekend and will go with whichever is easiest to get to.
