Switchback LED Query.

Tail light assembly came in today. I'm on the fence about the Switchback LEDs or the Two-way Amber bulbs.
Was wondering if anybody has come up with a way to make the Switch backs white LEDs stay OFF whilst in the "turn signal mode" to where only the AMBER LEDS are illuminated.
So the sequence would be:
AMBER..NO LIGHT..AMBER..NO LIGHT...etc..
versus
AMBER..WHITE..AMBER..WHITE...etc..
Potential relay between the 12v running light brown wire (White LED hot)and the turn signal 12V (AMBER LED hot).
Possible?

why not just get an Amber LED lamp then. Except I guess you want it to burn amber the whole time then blink when needed....

Like the concept of burning the White LED all the time as the runners, but don't like how they toggle between white and amber when they blink. Was hoping someone came up with a way to blink only the amber without the white in between blinks cycles. So when the blinkers are activated, the WHITE side of the switchback LED stays off until the blinkers/hazards are turned off.
