SWINGARM STANDS

Needless to say, I am a bit nervous about lifting bike on stands I just purchased. I have never done it before, all of my other bikes had center stands. The stands are "Handy" front and rear stands. But the rear just doesn't seem like it will work. It seems that the rear caliper will be in the way. How far up on the swingarm should I be? Should I use a zippy tie on the front brake to ensure no roll factor? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't wanna drop my Baby, I am sure you all understand. The season here in Wisconsin is almost here and I want to put my Yoshi Carbon Cans on, so if you have any suggestions, let me thank you in advance.

I've got the same stands........it'll work just fine. Might have a friend give you a hand the first couple of times you try them! Once you get the hang of where to place them, should be no problem. I have to admit its alittle nerve racking the first time or two you use them. I never worry about the brakes............
