Swingarm frame gap?

Hi guys. I was changing the rear tire when I noticed there is a gap in between the frame and the dust seal of the swingarm on the right. It looks like a 1/8 gap. Is it suppose to be there or is the swingarm and frame suppose to be flush? Thanks. Picture attached

Somebody look at your swing arm!! I can't do it. I still have the bike in a storage unit.

I would lift the rear and try pulling laterally both left and right. Does it seem loose?

Normally a stock arm is difficult to install because there is very little gap but an aftermarket arm regularly has plenty of gap. I suppose the seals relax a little with time. I would check the torque on the pivot and not worry about it.

Its normal the adjuster threads into it from the right side, with the castle nut on it!
