Was just reading the thread on rdeluca picking up his new K8 *wrong color but congrats all the same! ;-)* when I came across this (see pic below) photo.

I gotta ask, I understand the extended swing-arm for straight runs but for daily riding what do you guys do, change it back (seems like an awful lot of work not mention expensive) to normal or is this a 'Notice Me' mod?

Not dissing anyone so please, no offence as each to his own and I respect that. Just curious as up here I've never see one on the street.

Getting ready to stretch mine about 6"

For me its all about the looks, and it doesnt hurt that its going to help keep that front end down. As for daily driving, It will be out on the streets.

Pics will be a comin once shes done.

well, the pic you have is not just extended but also a fat tire / jack shaft system. At that point I would have to say it's more inline as a notice me mod.

hate to disappoint you all
but the 300 on this zx12 is no problem
and i will go down in the turns.

Yes i love the look at me factor.
thats why i dont ride stock paint either.

There is a myth that large tires are a problem in the turns
these people just cant ride..........period.
I have no trouble with them.

My busa is 6 over and the 12 is 9 or 10 over.
everyday use is no different to me than before.
however im not pretending im at Laguna either.

to the O/P
Its no problem at all.
