Not that it's not the King anymore, but for the first time in it's
existance the Busa has several competitors. It used to be the
Busa's power would make up for a riders lack of experience against
a more experienced rider on a liter bike. Not the case anymore.
It's still true that mod for mod & rider for rider the Busa will get you
from straight line A to straight line B quicker than any other
bike. But, there is alot less space now between the Busa & competitors
noses as they cross the finish line.

Yeh! I understand BigDawg_03Busa. The busa came out in 99 & know it's that there catching up.When Suzuki comes out with the new busa There going to need 5 more years to catch up.

The Busa's looks and power is what it is all about. Now the liter bike are still behind in power and looks but not that far. The busa used to be way ahead of any bike in the speed and power straight line acceleration now the liters are catching up and they go through the twisties fast also. Most of the members on this board got the Busa because of the speed not to go racing in the hills. So Suzuki needs to give the Busa a little boost so it can be the king with a capital K.

Behind in power yeah, behind in looks well that's a little different story. I do agree that the Busa is very distinguishable from other bikes and I love that. However, when it comes to looks ya gotta give it up to the 04 R1 & 04 CBR 600rr. Something about that undertail exhaust that does something to me.

The busa really needs to be upgraded for 05 or 06. I really hope that they could re-set the speed limiter to 200 mph, but I doubt that.
What suzuki CAN do, is give us a few more ponies, and reduce some weight.
