I have a '99 Dodge Durango 4WD w/the Magnum V-8. Its got 150k mi. on it, n I just want to get the suspension back up to snuf before I start using it full-time again (winter will be here in four months). Im lookn for good shocks/leafs that will last me at least two/three years, I carry people more than cargo with this thing in winter, so I want to make it comfortable, but without breaking the bank...every dime I spend on the truck is one less I have for the Busa!!! LOL

So, any suggestions for some decent, cheap stuff I can order off the web? or should I try to find a junked Durango with low miles n take stuff off it n recycle?? (as one friend suggested?)

Thanks in advance,
BD

www.jcwhitney.com me and my buddies have used alot of stuff from them. I personally have done a 4-Runner, Explorer and an Expedition all in the 150,000 to 200,000 milage range. Many Blazers and Broncos as well. A nice improvement was the bushing kits and shocks. Did it all ourselves in a weekend. Sorry I don't know how to post the link but maybe someone else will or you can do the C&P thing. Hope this helps some.

Try this on your SUV:

front preload: 2 clicks out, compression 6 clicks out
rear preload: 5 clicks out, compression 10 clicks out

let us know how it goes
