Superior Honda automobile quality in action...

The NHTSA found the cases were the fault of dealerships or others who improperly installed oil filters.

if you had someone with a brain to change your oil, it wouldn't happen.

interesting story tho.

Ummmm...

Anybody think Honda techs are categorically dumber than GM techs?

Two words:

Dumb design.

The explanation sucks anyway... I've dumped ooodles of oil on hot exhaust manifolds over the years with no fires.

ive been a honda dealer for 6 years, trust me.... your Honda Certified techs are not doing the oil changes.

I would say Honda techs ARE dumber then GM techs since Honda vehicles don't break and well GM vehicles break all the time - lots of hands on experience for the GM boys
