Grilled sushi grade tuna steaks with jalapeno-garlic marinade along with cheddar scones, couscous salad (jalapenos, onions, cilantro, tomatoes and avocados) and asparagus as thin as grass. (bacon was no where in site today )

And dessert is homemade bread pudding with blueberry sauce.

The asparagus was done on the grill with just a light brushing of olive oil and a little black pepper.

I think I could eat like four or five plates of that. Looks great.

Do you just cook it enough to start to soften it?

I wanted to try grilling some asparagus for some time but never have.

Just a little aluminum foil and bacon and olive oil!
Just let it simmer in the foil,, till tender! Yum Yum!

This weekends grill will be a shrine to red meat and over-indulgence, would that make it better?

Yep.

I used the elevated rack and put down foil with a little olive oil and pepper. When I turned the tuna steaks I moved the aspargus around on the foil to try and even them out.

I don't have that kind of patience; if I can't go from fridge to mouth in about 30 minutes i lose interest :)

That's what the glass of Bushmills is for in the upper right part of the picture. It helps makes the time pass.

I finally got a chance to try this today with some steaks I was grilling. It came out excellent the first try. Great tips from here made it happen!!
