Hi i'm looking for recommendation for a Summer riding jacket that offers ce rated protection. May be looking at icon, alpinestars, Dainese, spidi, oxford, agv sport, and rev it looking to stay under $300 but if some good protection.
Links, pics, and model number are all welcome

I can recommend my Firstgear Jaunt T2 wholeheartedly! I recently asphalt tested it and it protected me well in all the areas you could reasonably expect a jacket to. Couldn't do anything about protecting my ribs unfortunately. Zip out liner, CE Protection, well ventilated. Only gripe was the bulky Cuffs with the liner installed. I bought it from these guys when it was on sale last year at a substantial discount. Pays to shop around.

Summer is different depending on were you are.
For summer in Florida I have a First Gear and Olympia
Mesh jackets, and they're still warm. I bought each from RevZilla
for around $100. Up north you might be able to use a perforated leather
jacket from Vanson.
Both mesh jackets have Knox CE pads.

that looks like a touring jacket not a summer jacket. anything waterproof is not very light weight and doesn't breathe well either and no offense but that thing looks like somthn one wud climb Mt Everest with.

any of these wud do the trick is ur lookn for somthn sporty.

I love the Alpinestars line

I'm a fan of Joe Rocket products. They have a wide variety of products; including some really nice mesh jackets. Their support is really amazing as well. I ride wearing an Alter Ego jacket; which has a waterproof outer shell; but that peels off to reveal a full mesh jacket underneath; but they also have straight mesh jackets. We do a lot of touring miles; so for me the dual purpose is ideal.

I just upgraded to Alpinestars from ICON, bought a perforated leather jacket because even on the hottest of days, I wear leather. So far, the perforated leather and the "mesh" along the inner sleeves are awesome for airflow. Granted, we've had a very mild spring, so mild I've been cold and needed layering under the new jacket, but I'm a huge fan and love the fit. It's above the $300 price point, but I love it. Makes me want to explore more A-Stars jackets...
