Ladies and Gents I have no idea how this injury occurred...I awoke last Monday and couldn't get out of bed...To this day I can't think of anythinig that I could have done to cause it...Had an old injury when I was in the Corp may have gotten worse over time...I hope that's the explanation...

I appreciate the concern it makes me feel much better about my situation and the coming weeks...

Avoid back surgery if you can. it will lay you up alot longer. Listen to your physical therapist and don't push yourself too hard, and you'll be up and

ing before you know it.

stay strong mentally and remember it's your choice on how this effects you...

Sorry to hear that man....I'll tell you this though....I work in the medical field(Army), and I have two compression fractures in my upper back(T8-T9) and two herniated discs in my lower back, and two other bulging discs....passed on surgery....incorporate stretching into your life....three times a day and do stretches that do not compress your spine....you won't need surgery....trust me....I've had these herniated discs for almost ten years now and I lift, run, play sports, play with the kids, hit curves, do wheelies, and entertain my wife.......all just fine, some better than others....haaha.

Just a thought.....I have passed on surgery, just because and I can manage my injuries. Something you might look into. Surgery can make it worse. I'll say a prayer for ya though my brother.

STUNNAH, man don't worry they (physicians) have those corrective surgeries down to a science now. You'll be back in no time. I myself will be going in for reconstructive surgery on the 1/17 on my shoulder. (NO WORRIES)
