Stripping and polishing stock black rims

I need to match my original factory black front rim to my new polished aluminum rear rim and heard the easiest way is to use a automotive "zip strip" type product to get the black finish off then polish by hand. What have you found to be the best and easiest way to get 'er done?

I used aircraft stripper, It worked pretty good. I bought it at Autozone. It is specifically for stripping paint off aluminum. It took multiple rounds to get all the paint off. Make sure you wear the heavy rubber gloves like for washing dishes. This stuff is wicked, if you get any on your skin it burns like hell.
