Strange pic my iphone took today

Just took pics of my daughter and her pup playing around and the dogs eyes were doing crazy things.

I think maybe the flash is hitting my riding jacket reflectors which then is hitting his eyes? Maybe? I dunno but its cool.

LOL he is a big sissy. We got him from a family that kept him in an apt. We've had him for a few weeks now and live in a house and he is scared of everything outside!

My guess is the reflectors on your jacket are screwing up the automatic exposure settings of the camera.

If I remember correctly, many animals' eyes have a lack of some photoreceptors (cones?) versus humans. They also have a layer at the back of the retina that captures more light and causes that creepy effect.

Anyway, that's kinda the way I remember it from my physiology courses...
