Stopping power...

I am looking to get a little more stopping power out of the brakes on my 2008 Busa. I am used to trail braking on the last several bike I have had, but on the Busa that is proving to be more of a challenge. Can anyone give me any recomendations to help give quicker response and better stopping power?

Cheap;
SS lines
Aftermarket brake pads ebc hh are good

Not so cheap;
Brembo radial master cylinder

Not cheap at all;
BST wheels

Will the brake lines make that much difference? If so great, mixed with new pads that should be an easy fix. Thanks

And if you're gonna take the time to write a reply, how about you make it ******* useful or don't bother at all.
I sincerely apologize.

I absolutely thought that directing mercwork to the search function would have been very beneficial,...

...whereas, I'm certain that in the month of May alone, there were no less than half a dozen threads regarding brake issues.

Hope this helps

I had to grab a huge handful of brakes yesterday as I was coming up an on ramp to the highway and when I got over the hill brake lights everywhere. I went from 80mph to 10 mph in a slit second. Got the heart racing and adrenaline racing real fast! I like the stock brakes for what they are worth.....stock.

Whooowa! Easy does it Hoo. The search function is there so that people will use it. There was no disrespect in directing someone to it. We all try and help each other here and the best way to find out something is to use the search function. Its all good.

You know what they say, "If you have nothing good to say..."
So, just don't reply and skip to another thread, some of us are newbies and/or slow if you might, but we don't need anyone's attitude, we have one of our own!

I put Goodrich SS line with SS connectors on mine. The feedback is better and the brakes feel more firm. I have had to make a few very short stops and it works great. Even after 250 miles of fairly agressive riding in one day the brakes felt really good. I'm still using stock pads, too.
