I know everyone is in the same boat but I was allmost back up with mutual funds and today the Wall Street Bandit took a dump on the sidewalk again :banghead:

I have tried 3 times in the last 20 years and never had success in the market and soon as I get close again I am out! :firedevil:

I shoulda gone to VEGAS! :beerchug:

I feel like with Vegas at the very least you get to see how and why you lost your money. But I really feel like anything you put money into other then a mattress pad you lose maybe not huge, maybe not all at once but more often then you end up with less then you started with.

The drinks are free in Vegas, so at least you don't feel so horrible as you're losing it.......:40__s:

and pretty little girls with little clothing give you free drinks...Stock market doesn't even give you KY Jelly:moon:2hip

Investing in the market for short term is worse than Vegas. At least in Vegas they don't demand a fee to sit at the table.

Long term is the way to go for the market, unless you have the time to sit and watch your monitor all day long, researching companies and figuring out the trends.

I hope that I don't get burned...every few months I buy a 3-4 hundered in something that is beatdown. If you like buying stuff on sale...now is a good time.

In Vegas you see & feel the tables that have a "pulse", those hot tables. If you take a seat and start to go on a run, it's a great rush! But then it becomes just like short term investing, (maybe long term as well, i dunno) the game becomes knowing when to get out.

Do I have just as good a chance as throwing two red dice down a table as I do at picking a profitable portfolio? I thought the house always wins? :unhappy:

When I stepped off the plane in Vegas a few years ago I knew immediately "The House ALLWAYS Wins!"

Even the Airport looks like a Casino.

Buy GUNS and GOLD
Two things that will never be worth less than you paid for them and always easy to turn.
