Stock busa in the 1/4

As I recall Pro riders have gotten stock Busa under 10. I only ran once so far, goofed up twice ( rev limiter & miss shift ) and still ran 11's. Was still fun cant wait to go again.

i ran a best of 9.97 in the 1/4 at the AMA Prostar Schnitz Fall Nationals last year in Montgomery Alamaba on a 100% stock bike

We don't have any drag strips here so I had some fun in an industrial park. We took 400 meters and just took a chrono-timer (those little ones you hold in your hand
) and I don't really think 400 is a full 1/4 mile. Anywayz: I pulled 10.9 on the first run and ended up with a 10.4 at best. Correcting for the real distance and "chrono-error", I'd say low 11's, maybe a high 10.

02 all black, 2 upin the rear, yosh tri oval, k&n and small air box mod. 90 degrees and humid, i weigh 230lbs best run was 10.39 @ 136 and 6.82 @ 109 in the 1/8th w/ 1.8's for 60'
Back in 86 i had a Ninja 900 slipon's and a K&N jet kit..
Sacramento...best time was 11.09 @ 121..then a few years later 88 gsxr1100...Full kerker pipe and K&N jet kit and filters
10.76 @ 128....can't wait to try the Busa..had a chance in 02
But they wanted 40 bucks at the gate and i said no...hmm..
maybe this year..i weigh 150 pounds....just gotta fix the clutch so ya can slide it out..hate the stock busa clutch..

That is bone-stock...on my previous piped and mapped, lowered and strapped Busa, I ran 9.95's.
I gotta see them 9.8-10.0's before I believe em.
There are several guys in Indy with a pipe power commander lowered, strapped and a good tire going 9.40's. (Brock setup)A good friend of mine 60ft's his 1.51-1.53 That is amazing for a stock wheelbase 160 hp bike. Anyone that goes faster let me just call you a liar in advance.

i have a 2002 busa and the only thing i have done to it is lower it and put a shinko out back and i went to hattiesburg to the bike race Red Line productions put on and i was running low 9.80's and then on my final pass i ran a 9.728 @142.38 with a 1.496 short time

Hard to say because you are still excelerating at the 1/8 mark. You can make up a lot of time on the last 1/8.
