Steering damper?

It's actually a "Damper".
A "Dampener" is a person that
makes something moist.

Try 70W gear oil. I did 90W and it seems to be
working against me in high speed corners (110+)
Not returning fast enough or something.

lol... i was waiting for someone to get mad at this... hasn't happened yet.

i bet that the bike will dampened you quite a bit if the damper isn't working as expected... so technically the damper can act as dampener...
