Is it a thing now that when I ask for torque values for bolts I'm gonna be touching that the dealerships won't give them out? Parts counter said they don't have anyway to inform me what the torque specs are for any part(oil drain plug, starter clutch cover, sprocket bolts ect) 2015 Hayabusa.
Place I got my TL from years ago always gave me what I asked for on the EPD the part was on.

Welcome @neolithicman996!

You may want to avoid dealerships. They are a bad influence on society. Next thing you know you will be passed out in an alley wondering where the heck you went wrong in your life.

The torque specs are in the service manual. A member provided the following files. Look for "Manual K8", then "Gen2 Service Manual" which is the gen 2 manual but merely lacking the ABS section from 2013. If your browser opens it by default you may need to select a "download" link.

Also here is an awesome summary of Hayabusa maintenance by one of our members @Berlin Germany. Note that it includes warnings that may be off the radar like clutch bolts loosening which apparently has happened to quite a few owners.

Thank you! I'm just so flabbergasted. I've never walked into a shop and been told "no" to a torque spec question. They treat their maintenence info like its proprietary info. Insane. Thanks again for the links. Def use them. Picked up my busa after a fella dropped it. Looks like all that is wrong is the stater clutch cover(broken) and the right side fairings. Tested the starter clutch and it seems fine(only hand turns in one direction. Fairings are crazy expensive, but hoping to grab some good ones off ebay for a decent price. Have always loved these bikes, even when I was on my Widowmaker and getting pasted by them!

Welcome....dealerships definitely have their place....living in an area with no Suzuki dealership sucks at times...

They probably never gave them out because they don't know, those people on the desk aren't techs, some of them probably don't know anything about motorcycles other than the parts they look up.

This is why this site does so well, you can get most of your DIY tech support right here.

download the gen2 - manual as apdf by this link
it fits 100% to ALL gen2 - no matter what year of construction they are
means all from 2008 - 2020

so that manual will answer ALL your mechanical questions.

sorry but for the haya abs i have no equivalent in english

yep for a real newbie regarding a motorcycle it will be best to ask a specialist dealer for his bike for spare parts (and their part number).

once he has the microfiches for his bike, he can look for the numbers himself, provided that he like e.g. busa knows the difference between the three generations.

but what is not in any manual and what even a specialist dealer usually does not know
is e.g. that the gen2 cylinder block fits perfectly on a gen1 engine,
but then you still have to use all other parts of the gen1 (incl. the gen1 head gasket)
such information can only be found in forums like .org or on homepages like mine.

but what does all this have to do with that you basically first of all get the best basic information in the form of a manufacturer service and maintenance manual, which I wrote in my 1st post above?

Your problem was that you went to the parts counter to ask for technical info . .
Call the service manager or ask to speak to their Suzuki service tech and ask the torque value question, they should willingly help you!
I work as a Suzuki tech at a Suzuki Dealership and I give out this info at work over the phone, or in person, to customers all the time.
If you ever need part numbers and want to avoid callin the dealer . . just use the Megazip website . .

My actual plan was for FrankenWidowmaker(06 SV1000 upper engine on the K3 TL1000R framed lower engine, lightened rear swing arm). This Busa was just staring at me, begging me to fix her. I've ridden the 99 busa a few times. Gen 2 are prettier IMHO. Trying to find unaltered TLs in good shape is nearly impossible.
