... 32 oz rib eye pan seared with garlic fresh thyme and rosemary then slow roasted, topped with Digby scallops, served herbed mashed potatoes, sauteed asparagus, finished with a oyster mushroom, doubled smoked bacon, caramelized onion port wine cream reduction.

It was a birthday dinner for a good friend.

Gotta show it some love and tenderness before I start eating such a thing of beauty..
(or so my dad used to tell me as a kid.. although I'm not sure he was referring to food...)
