I got a virus on that site that trashed my hard drive.
I know thats were i got it downloading a gif.
went right around my norton antivirus.
Computer warned me harddrive falure was iminent but 2 late lost everything.
Even some of her daughters newborn baby pics cant replace them.

Beware of that site cost me $100 4 new hardrive +lost everything.
I know that site has some stuff in poor taste.I JUST LIKED THE COOKING + FOOD PICS ON IT.

Sorry for your pain bummer I have all my music an pics backed up on CD's and externals, losing the irreplaceable is hard

You would be really surprised what you can recover off a HD. You could even buy a USB external case if you didn't want to reinstall into the cpu case. Unless you have intentionally securely written over the disk (several times in most cases) your data won't be completely destroyed.

When a computer deletes a file what is really happening is the file is removed from the index and now is vulnerable to new data being written over top of it, with todays 60+ gig HD's most users can go several months without doing this.
