Starter Relay Problems

Recently rebuilt my k4 from the ground up. Upon trying to start it the bike wouldn’t prime but it did crank so I started off that maybe it’s a low battery. I called a buddy over to jump it and in his haste he touched the end of the cables together while they were on the battery, slight spark. Now when I go to try and start the bike starter relay just clicks. Checked the relay fuse it’s good, fuses in box are good. Any ideas? Killed battery?

yep probably killed a cell or two or simply discharged the battery. The prime issue isnt involvled in the battery since it had enough juice to turn the motor.

Swapped a new battery in and the relay still clicks
