TL1000 ... the one nicknamed Widowmaker? Just watched a YT doc on this bike. Rare, no??

Congrats!
The TL1000R is getting rare here too... but you can pick one up for around 5-6 grand depending on condition.
In US dollars that’s not much money for a great old v twin soozook.
I currently have my faithful old ‘99 Busa and a 2017 DRZ400E.. great pair of stable mates!

A friend of mine who has a dealership sold his yellow TL1000R privately a few years ago...shortly after he sold it, I saw it at a bike shop all smashed up. It was a beauty of a bike with Yosh pipes and tuned perfectly....I loved the sound of it.

There was a time when I had 6 bikes in my garage...it was a night mare to do all the maintenance....

It was nice to go out and spend time detailing them all in the winter though....and was fun when someone stopped by and you could go and talk about them for hours.

I'm down to one and I'll tell you it is a breath of fresh air to not worry about all the other bikes.

bumblebee When you had 6 bikes what were they
At the end I had an '85 GSXR, an '86 pop up Katana, A '00 1200 Bandit, a '95 CR250R, an '86 Suzuki Quad Racer 250, a Honda XR350R. I added the Hayabusa and was up to 7 there for a while.

The GSXR and Katana I had since new, the others came and went along with other bikes, I generally had 3-4 at one time total in the stable over the years.

I currently have 6 with one to depart in the next month or so.

1982 GSX1100SXZ Wire Wheel Katana
1985 RG500 with a 570cc Kit
2008 Hayabusa LE
2008 Hayabusa [Blue/Gold]
2016 Speed Tripe R [Departing]
2017 GSXR 1000 L7
