sprocket spacers

Just installed my renthal 43 tooth rear sprocket. Went for good ride over the weekend and now noticed a grinding noise coming from the rear. Looks like my chain is eating up the inside of the sprocket.
Has anyone needed to space the sprocket out from the hub? I checked the rear alignment and its good, just looks like the sprocket sits little to far inboard to me.

I have the same sprocket and have no issues. Are you sure it is not alignment? I also replaced the front with a renthal 16 just as FYI

HERE'S A DUMB QUESTION, i know on some bikes the sprocket has two different sides and can be put on wrong, was one side of the sprocket thicker(like a built on spacer) add poss put it on backwards ?........just a thought
