Sprocket and rear axle ?s

So was working on mods today....

Engine sprocket, stock vs aftermarket. The one I replaced which I assume is stock because it is the same as the one in an SV I changed recently has a big lip on either side of it almost like built in spacers or washers. After market doesnt have this lip.....so what is it there for?

Also rear hub (piece of metal that sprocket attaches too and covers cushes), is it supposed to be loose and fairly wobbly til chain is on? Mine is....

If ur Cush is loose you probably need new rubbas.

Its loose until the axle nut is tightened.

Yes tighten the axle nut and if the cush drive is still loose, get new rubbers.
