Got the 2000 gixxer750 pegs on mine and love them, they have this nice little angled-up part at the end for even easier moving-about and hanging-off if desired.

My old 89 gixxer750 pegs bolted on, if anything I think LESS vibes and think Animal will agree. I love em.

I've heard that both the TL1000's or GSXR750 pegs fit on the busa. Any opinions on which give more room? Are they the same pegs?

TLR pegs are kinds cool because they still retain a little rubber for anti-vibs. The GSXR pegs are kinda like the aftermarket type that are stright metal. If me, I would go probably with the TLR pegs. (.02) about the same room. Maybe "slightly" more with the GSXR's.
