Did you guys stick with the Denso when you changed your plugs or did you go to NGK? Did you stick with iridium or not.. Just looking for some opinions,, my bike is due for plug change and wanting to know is it a waste of money keeping the Denso's in or not.

I have 11k miles on mine and getting ready to change them. Runs just fine but figured it's about due... manual says to replace at 12k

The way my bike runs I'll prolly wait to 20000. I changed my Strom @ 20,000 & the plugs were as new. Approaching 45K now and mileage is running normal as is performance. If you race change them more often I suppose, every millionth counts.

Just tried Denso Iridium RACING, they are not cheap but there's an improvment in the throttle response and the bike is slightly more powerful towards the top range on high gears. but the original plugs were really in good shape, i've got 10,000 miles on my bike

For the street I always liked the regular ol' NGK's.

For racing only, I use the Denso IU01-27 as well. There wasn't any gain on the dyno using these plugs. They're not cheap. I would kill to get them at less than 30 a pop.

Unless my dealer changed them out before I bought the bike (0 miles on it) mine already had NGK.
