Hokay,
So we are all at the airport today. My wife and two sons are going back home to Vegas to visit with the families. Since I am not going (due to work) I walked with them to the security checkpoint, but got ready to leave since I wouldn't be able to go with them to the gate. So, when I give Christopher a hug, he asks me why I am not going with them, and I explain that I have to go to work. The following is the conversation that took place. As a reminder, my son just turned four (4).
Me: "Buddy, I gotta get to work."
Christopher: "NO YOU DON'T!"
Me: "Christopher, I really do."
Christopher: "NO YOU DON'T!"
Me: "Son, I really have to."
Christopher: "NO YOU DON'T!"
Now at this point, the woman at the security checkpoint decides to intervene.
Security Lady: "Young man, your father has to go to work to make money for your family."
Christopher: "NO HE DOESN'T!"
Security Lady: "Young man, your father makes money to support you family."
Christopher: "NO HE DOESN'T!"
Security Lady: "Yes. He does"
Christopher: "NO HE DOESN'T!"
Now, at this point there is quite a line at the security checkpoint and all attention is on my son who obviously has command of this situation.
Christopher, noticing the crowd and eyes upon him, decides to share the following:
Christopher: "My daddy doesn't make any money, he's a Marine!"
Just thought I would share...
