LOL! But according to him all sport bikes are within .5 seconds of each other on the track. Hard to believe with gearing like that.

Not to change the subject but up in that thread was a few images of the Turbo Egli Kawasaki. I have actually seen that bike. It was at the USGP in 1988 and wound up in a few magazines after that. Radical as hell in 1988.

It will do over a 100 in first gear...it also will REV to 13,000+RPM

yes it will!!!!!!! and the gsxr is even faster !!!!!!!!

that is funny. its so slow but the busa killer looked to be about a length back. yep busas r slo. so slow that i was doin over 200mph on the way to work (big highway and no traffic at all)

The Liter Bikes do have some seriously tall first gears. It's a track thing, smoothes out delivery and avoids needing an upshift in alot of first gear corners.

Tall gears and close ratios in the trannies...but the sprockets on the final drive make up for some of that.
